Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative medicine is a life-changing area of medicine with the potential to fully heal damaged tissues and organs, offering alternatives and hopes for people who have conditions that currently are beyond repair. Novel medical device, tissue engineering, and cell therapy are some perspectives in regenerative medicine, to name a few.

According to United States’s National Institutes of Health NIH, regenerative medicine is the process of creating living, functional tissues to repair or replace tissue or organ function lost due to age, disease, damage, or congenital defects.
